Open to all Scouts (including 11 year old scouts, Varsity and Venturers) in the Green River District. Pre-registration is required. Scoutmasters please return your troop's merit badge choices by Jan. 13, 2001 to the registrar: David Mathews, 19829 SE 316th PL, Kent, WA 98042 (253-630-0944).

Scouts Should Be Prepared!

Merit Badge registration forms should be signed and sent by the scoutmaster to David Mathews.
Each Scout will need to bring Merit Badge Cards signed by their Scoutmaster, coach or advisor.
To help Scouts be even better prepare, go to this Web site: Merit Badge Worksheets
and down load worksheets for the merit badge they intend to work on at the clinic. Each boy can come prepared with the worksheet completed or partially completed.

8:30-8:45 Registration
8:45-8:55 Welcome and Announcements
9:00-9:55 Merit Badge Session 1
10:00-10:55 Merit Badge Session 2
11:00-11:55 Merit Badge Session 3

Scouts: You may earn three merit badges by attending sessions both Saturdays and completing the requirements assigned by the counselors during the time in between sessions. Wear your uniform and a smile; bring a blue merit badge card signed by your scoutmaster for each merit badge you want to earn; bring also paper and a pen or pencil, and have access to merit badge books.

Scoutmasters and other Leaders: Please plan to have at least one adult from your unit in attendance each Saturday. Training and other activities will be provided for the adults.

The boys should each have 3 blue merit badge cards signed by the scoutmaster. There will be no extra merit badge cards available at the clinic.

Registration: Registration will be handled the same as last year. The form should be filled out and signed by the scoutmaster and then sent to the registrar by U.S. Postal mail or e-mail. Copies of the form may be made as necessary.
