The Kent Washington Stake has an active Dry Pack Canning Program. Under the direction of Stake Canning Specialist Ann Schneider and a team of dedicated of Ward Canning Specialists the program has been fine tuned in an attempt to meet the canning needs of all of the members of the stake. All of the wards in the stake participate in a monthly Stake Canning Day. Under a recently implimented program, it is not necessary for the memebers to go to the cannery every time they wish to order food.
