The Ensign Ranch has had a record year of snow and there is a lot of work to do to clean up and get ready for the busy spring and summer season. The Kent Stake service project will be on Saturday, April 30th and will include setting up craft pavilions in Trillium and cleaning up and doing a “firewise” clearing of the Hogan trail.
Come with your family, friends, and those you minister to, to enjoy the each other’s company in a beautiful forest setting. Bring a lunch, a pair of work gloves for everyone, and rakes, loppers, and shovels for those who want to help clean up the trails. Families, including little children, can help pull out brush and dead limbs, making trails and forests “firewise.” There is plenty of work to go around and all are welcome, so come and spend a few hours with your friends at the Ensign Ranch.
The night before each service project, members are invited to stay at the Ensign Ranch free of charge, at Trillium campground. For those who stay overnight, the A-frame cabins can be used. You will want to bring your own sleeping pads and sleeping bags.
With your participation the Kent Stake’s service projects will start at 9:00 and should be completed in about 3 to 4 hours. See you there!
